We are BOS
Our vision, "Providing outstanding community service and social programs that address issues that impact African-American men and boys in Columbus Ohio", has kept our chapter on the cutting edge of community service since 1949.
Phi Beta Sigma
The founders of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity wanted to organize a Greek-letter fraternity that was "a part of" rather than "apart from" the community. They also wanted to create an inclusive organization that did not discriminate by race, family background, or social status.
Five coeds envisioned Zeta Phi Beta as a sorority which would directly affect positive change, chart a course of action for the 1920s and beyond, raise consciousness of their people, encourage the highest standards of scholastic achievement, and foster a greater sense of unity.
